and my review of the 2 helicopters, 500 FBL flys a lot like the 550 but the 550 does hang in the air more and feel a bit smoother, the bigger they are the better they fly and the easier they are to fly but the bigger they are the more they cost to crash, batterys are more money, higher power chargers are needed and you need more room to really enjoy flying it, if you strictly flying 3D you dont need a huge area for a big helicopter but if you enjoy sport flying and big air flying like i do you need more room to fly the bigger guys, the 550 can easily be fit in the back seat or trunk of a car. it flys similar to a 600 but has more power. besides the extra stability of the 550 a FBL 500 is amazing and they are some what comparable, a flybarred 500 well its gets ate for lunch by the flybarred 550, ad FBL to the 550 and i can only imagine how bad ass the 550 would be

  • Can you mount a Canon 7d to the 550?

  • @ThingsAllVideo i dont know, but i would want to use something bigger than a 550 if i were going to mount a camera on a helicopter. a 700 size or larger would be a heck of allot more stable in the air than the 550

  • That might be the coolest canopy I´ve ever seen!

Can you put a link where to buy them?

  • @sebastiankraitsik you can get them at helidirect or the canomod website,

  • Nice birds awsome color scheme

  • @dad32357 nope, about 350 bucks for a good controller, about 100 bucks for a receiver and about 90-250 bucks for a battery depending if you get a value brand battery or a name brand battery. you need a swash level and good tools, connectors to put on your ESC and batter so you can plug the battery in. and its best to run a 15-20 amp external bec on something that big that cost 50-100 bucks..

  • dannylightning if you bought the combo for the trex 550 did it come with the control??????????????????????????????
