just saw 6 of those in a shape of a circle, they were moving in a circle aswell, but they disapeared after 5 seconds.

OMG i saw an orange light just like this last night when the fireworks were going off, it moved from the right of the sky to the left but it moved slow....wierd !

they are called chinese sky lanterns they a basically a little fire which (due to gases) cause the ballon to float

This seems to happen a lot to people on new years and halloween... think about it, when do people let off chinese lanterns?, halloween and new years!

i got it happens everyone new year it happen in 2009 and 2008

i saw these on halloween at around 6:30 pm. i am in chicago suburbs. these seem to be all around the globe the past month. it's amazing. no media is picking up on this. this isn't a weather balloon for sure. the ones i saw popped up from no where and just stopped being lit up at one specific point in the sky as they floated perfectly across the sky

It was either that or the noise of the fireworks but the strange thing is she hasn't barked for months because she's a bit old and isn't as botherd about things as she used to be.
