Everyone needs to see this video.

I am SO sick of people saying "evolution is only a theory."

You can consider it a religion if you throw away 150 years of scientific research and development, along with 2,000 published papers every year and you kill 99.98% of all biologists (scientists) who know more about what science is and what it isn't then you do. I laugh at how you think you obviously 'know' more then experts! What degree do you have again?

I'll go back to my original question. Can you provide one fact that shows something has evolved into something of a different kind? Otherwise it's just a state supported religion. I don't pretend to know more than anyone. I'm not attacking you, your intellect, or your belief, I just disagree. Evolutionists attack personally anyone who questions their belief to try and end the debate. As for the experts, anyone that tries to tell me we evolved from nothing into something, I have to question it.

there is much evidence that supports the theory of evolution including genetics and the fossil record (genetics being the most important). but if you want hard facts then you should look at the evolution which is going on within a time scale we can observe (your question is a bit unfair as most evolution takes place over a geological timescale) such as bacteria, species of lizard which once separated on different islands began to move in different evolutional directions.

Teresa - You must first define 'kind'.. Is it another word for species? What we see now in our world is derived from the same SOURCE. The source is not any modern day creature but an 'extinct' creature.
Let me give you an example. If you change a small detail every time a puppy reproduces, the small detail (mutations) begin to stack up. They don't simply go away. After a few hundred thousand generations, you take the new puppy and compare it to the old. They look entirely different.

Nowadays, questioning evolution is like some nut saying that the earth is flat. They get the same reaction. If some nut told a geologist that the earth was flat, what do you think the geologist will think of that person? They will try to convince them otherwise because they can't handle the ignorance within this country so they try to educate them. If you think education is the same as attacking, you have alot to learn. Stop telling scientists how to do their job.

Evolution doesnt state that something comes from 'nothing.'
So are you more comfortably with a very complex being coming from nothing and then creating humans, which happen to be less complex? Sounds contradictory to the logic you are trying to use. It sounds like you are going backwards.

"...shows something has evolved..."
Comparative DNA testing. Is there really any other explanation for why humans would share a 26% genetic similarity with yeast? If common descent is false, then there would be no reason for this great of a similarity. This is just a bit over a quarter of our genetic make up.

BTW - I almost forgot. Genetic markers are also seen within various species of which are related to humans, such as the neandrithal. We have very similar genetic markers.

Face it. There is no evidence of anything stated in the bible. We have physical evidence for evolution.

Ive always wondered why anyone would even follow the bible. Did you know the bible also states that if a women is raped and doesnt scream loud enough, she is to be stoned? Did you know that? It's very condescending toward women.
