Are Meyer lemons supposed to be that small? I have never tried one before but have seen bigger ones at the farmers markets before.

@bat115 At Lemon Ladies Orchard they pick a variety of sizes for your order. Those lemons were about the same size I've seen in the commercial markets (the few that carry Meyer Lemons). I picked larger Meyers off of the tree in my yard, when I had one. So, they certainly get bigger, but they don't taste any better than these that I had delivered. Thanks for the comment!

@bat115 Well, I will get the word our earlier this fall when they first come in. I knew they were running low. I've got more recipes using them that I will share when they come out in December.

I eat then by themselves. We have them here at our Wal-mart as well as the Meyer Oranges that are crossed with Raspberry!!! I think I;m going to make a cornbread with the zest of a lemon!! I squeeze it lightly and breath in the essence. I've also boiled the lemon peels and then put the water in a spray bottle for air freshener.

i'm lucky to have a store nearby that stocks meyer lemons when they're available. they are one of my all time favorite treats!!!
