Bauer (6'1" 175 lbs. Valencia, CA, Hart High School) warms up prior to his start against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. March 26, 2010.
Bauer would earn the victory, UCLA's 19th in a row to start the 2010 season, after giving up three runs on five hits with three walks and nine strikeouts in eight innings.
Who cares if he copies someone? It is not like he is an artist or a musician. You can't plagiarize a delivery. Every pitcher basically does the same thing. Yes, his stride is similar to Lincecum's, who's stride was similar to Sandy Koufax.

@alandeana The kid who led the NCAA in strike outs is ripping off the guy with the two Cy Young awards. WHY WOULD HE DO THAT, THAT'S INSANE.

@alandeana are you crazy?! Everything this kid does is unique! I've worked with Trevor at the Texas Baseball Ranch in Houston and he does not try to copy Lincecum one bit. All of the drills that he works on has transformed his delivery into what it is today. He gets every ounce of power he can to throw as hard as he possibly cab to get guys out.

He's good, but he's ripping off too much of Lincecum. Fast lower half and rotation, but there's nothing to him thats his own.

That is a fucking violent delivery.
