This is not the first time the pronuciation has caused problems. Back when Karate Kid was released in 84 Movie critic Joel Siegel was called back in to correct his pronuciation in his review becase he used the proper Italian pronuciation(MA-Key-O) not Ralph's (Ma-chee-o). He was annoyed to be called in at 4AM because Ralph " didn't know how to pronouce his own name ". That difference was understandable but this is stupid. How the heck did he get muchacho out of Macchio?
