Nice. One of my faves, learned from our Brown belt. Never knew the name, and Vinny fine tuned it with the wrist grab.

I can always do this technique in training correctly but struggle in sparring, kind of frustrating.

@alphabetazulu okay i'll give it a try, i think i was tryin to use my shin more than anything but had no power.

This sweep is super effective, I hit it almost every time i try...BUT i can never get that leg over the shoulder into high guard, his arm is always posted on the ground so firmly!! Any suggestions??

This is the same Vinny that was on the Ultimate Fighter yes. It is the same Vinny that fights at LHW ( he walks around at 235 lbs). The other V Magalhaes aka Drac teaches in Texas and is 39 years young. He is 145lbser and a 4 th degree black belt.

@Submissions101 LOL I Live in Texas and I love Drac.. man he is such a technical teacher and wonderful person, its no wonder why such tops guys come from him like Romulo Barral and Samuel Braga!!

@Submissions101 Hey Ari, I just bought a new video camera and a tripod, I will shoot some videos and send them to you pretty soon. They should come out pretty good with the new cam. Btw, thanks for posting this video!
