  • Great vid Steve!

BTW, I've never heard the caboose refered to as the "crummy" why is that?

  • Back in the good old days, the caboose and crew had several nicknames that were coined by the workers themselves. I'm not positive how this particular one came to be but I'm willing to speculate that since a 16 hr day was normal back then, they thought the caboose was a "crummy" place to live.

  • Great Nice tanker yard!

  • Thanks, glad you liked it. The tank farm and train belong to member Rick S. He thanks you too!

  • Nice use of dissolves to cover passage of time. Layout looks familiar. Where is it located?

  • Thanks, we're in Spokane,Washington.

  • That was pretty entertaining and you didn't juice the switcher to get it done in a hurry. Btw, is that loco in PNWR livery?

  • cool switching!

  • Thanks!

I never would have guessed that. You're probably right, the cabooses back then must have been a crummy place to work!

  • I love the switching vids nice job!
