Its nostalgia bruh.
I haven't heard a Primo beat in I don't know how long that made me react like I reacted to this. To me, Alchemist is already up there with Primo. He's more versatile in his sound, and he's produced just as many classic joints. The only thing that weakens Alchemist is the fact that he wasn't in the golden era like Primo was. Songs don't have the same impact like they used to. The game is flooded now and its a plethora of ways to access music unlike then.

Iight im seein alot of comparisons between Alchemist and Primo...and yeah okay Alc def comes close on SOME beats...but realistically ? Alc cant see Primo from where he is standing at. Pound for pound...Beat for beat....Classic for Classic...Alchemist is NOT fuckin wit Primo.. EVER !!!

this what i need everyone to do. listen to the sample in this song, then type in 'castle walls - styx' and listen to the original sample. Then cum bak to surgical gloves and just admire the way alchemist chops his samples. FUCKIN SICK!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
