The soundtrack "Dash" appeared on the Japanese site of Final Fantasy XIII-2 alongside the main battle theme before the game was released. Composed by Naoshi Mizuta.

The song is: "Dash" - 3:55 (In Japanese 疾走 or in romanji Shissou).

Plays when Serah is exploring New Bodhum after initial battle. Tune also plays during battles afterwards."

personally I didn't like FFXIII only for one point which was that at times (again only at some times) the music was too calming. (I'm not saying they were bad music. they were in fact awesome pieces. I just felt they were kinda too calming and kinda made me sleepy as I played haha)

but FFXIII-2 on the other hand. I have no complaints! :D

i don't understand why people hate ff13....its better than the old take turns attacking....story is more interesting....battle system is engaging....soundtrack is top notch......i just don't get why....they have no real reason to hate....

I think people need to calm down with the "This isn't a final fantasy, this game sucks" XIII and XIII 2 are fine it's just a step in a different direction and it's still a final fantasy it has an amazing soundtrack and story with strategic gameplay that's kind of what a Final Fantasy is. A role playing game, which is what this is. XIII is my 3rd favorite and it's staying up there until a better game arrives.

@shortydapimp28 love the battle system too! i just wish xiii-2 bosses had higher difficulties! lol! being "Maxed Out" in xiii made vercingetorix, raktavija, etc. feel almost impossible until you find the right techniques after losing 3-5 times xD
