  • It sounds like you and me are actually very close in size, which makes me pay even more attention to what you're saying. I generally get a 40S, but the waist is always too large and makes me look bulky and odd. I generally get things fitted but it seems like even altered they don't get nearly enough. i was thinking maybe I was wrong and that was the style but with your fit test, they are still too big. How can I get the people altering to alter the jackets enough?

  • @jfknightom Try a 39S or even a 38S. When I get officially measured in a store, I am a 43S, but the 39S works the best. Also, look for athletic cut. This should help and cut down on the alterations.

  • Hey Aaron, I like the idea you have regarding the pocket square - problem is, most suite jackets seem to have a 'fake' pocket these days. Any idea how to overcome this?

  • @JustifyJustin The pockets are just stitched closed. All you do is cut the stitch and pull out the string and you are ready

  • hi, what's the difference between blazer, sportscoat and a suit? I am not well informed about this. thank you very much.

thanks again for telling me your height. it seemed we have the same arm length though I am 5'9 n half on barefoot.

  • @SaNePisamPeTigani Prom calls for a tux... not a suit.

  • Thank you for the videos. I am approx 5'6 in height and 32 or 34 w., and always have problems with coats etc...

  • U taught me a lot

  • that 's good advice

  • Hey.. I'm 19 and i'm having my prom in about 3 weeks.. just bought a suit in a hurry.. the suits fits well, except the sleeves... they're too long .. the problem is that there are 3 buttons there... may it be shortened ? I looks like it belongs to my father... I've contacted 3 tailors in town .. hope they respond my e-mail tomorrow ... i'm stressed about it.. so.. can it be done ?

  • VERY GOOD - THOMAS CANADA

  • Hi Aaron, Thanks for the videos. Very informative. Been thinking to buy a sport coat - my first!. Can you tell me what is the best coat to match with jeans and shirt on the inside - dont like the formal look. Am asking in terms of the type of cloth (cotton, wool, corduroy, etc) Some coats are double-lined and also with pads on the shoulders. Is it good to match these with jeans too? How about color or design? Would like a coat that's all-year round. Whats your suggestion regarding this?

  • What about shirt cuff length when wearing Cufflinks? They give you a chance to individualize more with cufflinks.. (which you can custom make)

  • I have a question. I bought a nice Hugo Boss suit from Ebay. The jacket measures out perfectly, but the pants are too big (I'm a 32 and the pants are 35) Could these be altered to my size or did I just waste my money?

  • @relax12002

Go to your nearest menswear and ask if they carry cruise-wear, January and February is cruise time in most reputable men's shops
