Die Freigabe des AMG Limousine Hammer 1986, basierend auf W124 E-Klasse , nahm AMG Performance Modifikationen für eine schnelle kompakte Limousine auf ein neues Niveau. AMG made the world's fastest passenger sedan at the time, nicknamed the Hammer, [ 4 ] by squeezing Mercedes 5.6-liter V8 tuned by AMG to 360 hp into a midsized sedan. AMG hat den weltweit schnellsten Passagier Limousine seiner Zeit, genannt der Hammer, [4] durch Quetschen Mercedes 5,6-Liter-V8-PS getunt von AMG auf 360 in einem mittelständischen Limousine. It was very aggressive for the era, with 32-valve cylinder heads and twin camshafts, and said to be faster than the Lamborghini Countach from 60 to 120 mph. [ 5 ] Later models were even more powerful and introduced the 17" AMG Aero 1 Hammer wheels. 1986 was also the year Mercedes introduced the 560 M117 engine. This provided yet another opportunity for customers to order the largest AMG displacement available at the time, the 6L 100mm bore SOHC or DOHC engines available for both the W126 coupe and sedans.

Totally fucked up car. Look at the hood above the dash. That thing is messed up. It may be some AMG thingie, but it could well be an AMG 420 or something like that. Either way, that thing is so run down, it's probably worth 2k...

ich glaube du brauchst eine Brille (bansheemopar) schau mal richtig auf die Fzg. Ident. Nr. dann sehst du es, ob das ein Bastelbude ist oder nicht. BLÖDMANN

it has alot of the amg mods, but right off the bat the ride height is not correct. do some more snooping around,..make sure the springs have the white paint markings, the block is stamped by amg, etc. I have a 300CD amg,...has most of the things that make it an amg,..however at a closer look it is just a clone. I suspect that is what is shown here. plus they only made a handfull of the 6.0 hammers,...all are accounted for in collections im pretty sure. good luck

That's real AMG, but not sure if it was the Hammer one. The engine looks regular M117 5,6L. The Hammer has M117 6,0L with two camshafts (twincam). Nice car, but where is your hood-star?!?

AMG have used at least three versions of the M117 in their cars. The regular M117 5,6 with 300hp, the tuned up M117 5,6 with 320hp and the M117 6,0 twincam with 385hp.

So ein aufgeschraubtes Blechschild sagt natürlich viel aus....

Aber ganz klar nochmal, der Motor der in Deiner Kiste drin ist, ist nicht der 6,0L Hammer Motor.

Ganz schlicht und ergreifend.

Such mal nach w124 hammer und sie Dir das Video von stevepitbull an.

Sieh Dir bei 1:07min mal genau den Motor an und vergleiche den mit Deinem Motor.
