This is an SpE reception of XHBC A3 Mexicali, BCN on July 9, 2009 at 1755 EDT. Mileage rounds out to 2421 miles. I reviewed this video clip and I hear Mexicali mentioned at least twice. A few minutes later, the words "Tu Canal" were seen in rotating graphics. Also during this time a major 6 meter skip opening was occurring to the same area from the east coast USA. At the time of this video, 99% of all US analog television stations were off the air after converting to digital.
Yes, the XHBC ch.3 is located in Mexicali, Baja. This TV channel transmit from my city, the Network is Televisa. I located just 5 miles north from the Studios.
Congratulations for the signal caption of your videos.

Its called Eskip. Its a weird phenomenon where the atmosphere carries a radio signal hundreds to thousands of miles from its original location. Usually the signals go through the atmosphere out into space, but during the summer they act weird at times. And since US analog is off, it makes getting distant stuff easier.
