PLEASE HELP!!!! mine is working fine, apart from the 'connection' is on the right and not the left, the monitor is on the left so i have to drag my mouse in the opposite direction of the screen, how do i fix it???????????????????/ PLEASE HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPP

Hey, I plug my moniter (which is fairly new) into my laptop (also new) but nothing happens. "Check signal cable" comes up on the other moniter, that's it. I checked the cables, they are both connected perfectly. Know anything that could help?

@5seahawk5 I'm not sure to be honest. Do you have another laptop or monitor? If you do, I would check to see if the cable works that way because if not you might just need to buy a new cable.

Yes, although it's very slightly different. Go ahead and plug your monitor in to your Windows 7 computer, then press the Windows key and the 'P' key together. A little pop up should come up, click Extend and it should activate the second display.
