Although a merle is not RARE.. They are each very much unique. I agree.. a registered dog can.. or can not.. mean it is healthy, but registering does help in saving dogs through the money paid to have them registered.

Merle is not unique. Way to research the breed before buying. Hope you don't have a puppy riddled with health problems and the puppy doesn't have a time life of agony in store for him.

I bought a Great Dane from this breeder. He is in fact a Merle and i LOVE him. I have sooo many compliments on how gorgeous and unique his markings are. I wouldn't trade him for any other Dane , registered or not, I couldn't care less. I absolutly love my dog.

first my great danes is a pure bread and i'm verry happy to don't live in sueden, here in canada we can register a beautiful merle color, and here we dont have a problem with the insurance companies !!!

all my puppy's are sold before she's pregnant
and if you have a problem with the color it's your problem, i dont sale my dog for competition.
