Beyond Reality - Hell's Kitchen Recap 2/05/09
Last week Wil was sent home. This week the chefs are awoken at 5:49 am by 3 drummers. Its a scallop shucking challenge but 1st they have to dive in the crates & get the scallops out. Its men vs the ladies - Whoever shucks the most amount of perfect scallops in 15 mins wins reward. The men win by one scallop. As a reward the men spend the day in Catalina with Gordon. As punishment the ladies must prepare all of the shellfish for the 1st ever raw bar at Hell's Kitchen. Robert won't be able to join the men on the helicopter - he's over the weight limit. Lacey takes a 6 hour nap & shows up very late for work. Ji slips in the kitchen & hurts her ankle very badly but stays to help her team for service. Carol & Robert worked the raw bar. It was very close between the men & the ladies but the men edged out the women & completed their service 1st. The ladies nominate Colleen & Lacey for elimination. Ji sacrifices herself for the team & goes home because of her injury. Gordon respects her & lets her keep her jacket. Next time - the claws come out & large sides of beef.

what the heck is that punishment for the fat guy? The boat ride to catalina is less than an hour. They couldn't wait half an hour for him to get there? Holy crap.
