@Straightsix76 just watched your video. Very very nice. What a shape and in such good condition. If I had the cash I would have to do something about the dashboard though if I managed to get one (left hooker of course). It's the only thing I don't like, both the large box with clocks or the dome type. But this will all remain a dream sadly I think.

Re UK, I agree. I moved to the UK in 2005 and came back (via 6 month stop in Switzerland) to Germany. The UK drove me bonkers in far too many ways as well as driving. I couldn't take much more. All too awkward... sooooooo slow on the motorways. In Germany I'll drive 500+ miles and back for an appointment. In UK it's travel lodge there and back. Also far too awkward to travel abroad.

@Straightsix76 it is... the funniest thing I once did was take my 540i in for a service and complain that it doesn't seem to accelerate the way it used to from 220 up to 250... the guy laughed and said they'll check it out to see what the problem might be... If ever I manage to make enough extra cash (wishful thinking) I'd love an esprit as the once depicted in this video. BTW, Check this out... /watch?v=LFZZScqwMMA

@Straightsix76 gosh, my comment is a year old already! Anyway, I take your point. Just that over here in Germany where i currently hang out and everyone really does go fast here, reallly fast, it's in the culture to not brag that you may have something fast but to actually do it! No speed limits on more than 60% of the Autobahnen here. The result is that one often even leaves the label off the back to keep others guessing what you have under the bonnet, and then just blast it when you can.

superb shape. This one looks really good... perhaps due to different wheels. Never too keen on the oversized spoiler which did exactly that... spoil it. Too much boy racer about it (the spoiler). The spoiler needs to be more subtle... still the car remains a fantastic shape.
