On November 16, 2011 the Alliance hosted a Statewide Sustainability Roundtable in Colorado Springs, CO. The audience of 105 attendees included leaders from business, government, nonprofit, and education who work on regional sustainability planning initiatives from all 14 economic development districts of Colorado. (This included councils of governments, planners, community energy coordinators, to name a few.) The meeting focused on messaging sustainability to the unengaged and included roundtable discussions on messaging around specific sustainability topics.
