Was in a pub last week that had one of my favourite beers in - Tetley's mild - proper hand-pulled stuff but I was driving and on soft drinks. Arghh!!!

I think I also could make a long list of beers I like
London Pride ... maybe I will be able to drink one as I will be around London in March ;o)

You can buy some English beers in the US (I've bought it in California and Texas), and there are some micro-breweries which do nice stuff too.

Man...I would love to go on a beer tour in England. I would love to sample some of the smaller breweries and pubs. We don't really have that here in my state. Although, I prefer my beer to be very cold! Good video!

I'll have to try it sometime! the only problem is that I live in the US :[ and I'm not of legal drinking age (not that that's stopped me before)

Thanks for the video response! I like bitter beers too...but warm and flat!?! I suppose I SHOULD try it...but... sounds... unappealing. I'll give it a shot.

Warm in comparison to American beers (or lagers generally). It's actually served cool, and not always totally flat, but nowhere near as bubbly/gassy as lagers. It's an acquired taste, but well worth acquiring!

Is that Fuller's? (yes) I used to really be into the Fuller's ESB. I can't think of any non english brewerys that make a "bitter" at least none that are sold around here--the Finger Lakes Region of NY.

ESB is wonderful! There was a time when I could spend a whole evening session drinking it, but with age my tendency to wobbliness has increased and my tolerance of hangovers has decreased!
