As many know, you must run from Bahamut on Dragon's Peak to continue. I decide to try and beat him using Game Genie and the Upgrade Trick.

Yeah. He's unbeatable. How else can four FEOKs attack him for 8 minutes and still live? He has 7,500 HP in the real battle, but he must have some script to make him unbeatable here. Oh well.

If you want to know about the Upgrade Trick, look here:

Final Fantasy III and all other Final Fantasy game are owned by Square-Enix. I just played them.

Oh, one last thing. Final Fantasy III NES is much better than Final Fantasy III DS.

  • Why is NES III better than DS III?

  • @floooooooooooooooood

    I just like it better.

  • @krawky398 I gathered that but why? Do you prefer sprites over 3D models? Do you prefer the retro soundtrack? Do you have problems with the altered script? Or the difficulty or the use of classes?

  • @floooooooooooooooood

Oh, oh. Sorry. I wasn't really a fan of how they tried to give previously mostly personality-less characters a personality and backstory that got tossed aside after you go to Canaan, if I recall.

I didn't mind the graphics too much, but the redone music I can't very easily stand, for some reason. I just really liked the retro OST better, I guess.

I didn't much see the use in adding levels to Jobs either. It really just increased the amount of grinding to do.

  • Chuck Norris could beat Bahamut here,

  • epic music

  • @NostalgicSince2005 Thats pretty much it then. I guess to some people the first one is the best because its the first one. Sorry couldn't help.

  • @NostalgicSince2005 Well for one they named the hero's gave new jobs and did alot of changing around the story. Thats about all I remember. But to me a classic should stay a classic.

  • @NostalgicSince2005 Because its the orginal. All they needed to do was upgrade the graphics like orgins and it would be double better than that 3d version.

  • @wurmi32 NES and DS are 2 different consoles, and they are different games. You get nothing for killing Bahamut early, you need to run. (not to mention, the NES version is VERY hard)
