I think, first, we need some music sense before commenting abt IR's music in this song..have we ever been in the 18th century to know how the music would be during that time...and this is a movie ..not a documentry...a movie is larger than life...lets enjoy the picture from the perspective it was taken..and appreciate the efforts put into it..

Though Illiaya Raja is Hindu he did music on Islam but AR being islam I heard that he denied to tune song on lord Ayappa in Boys film, that one song was done by some different person - its just a thought

True! Hariharan made a mistake on the music part! The Music seems to be of the 21st century! I think a seasoned Malayali like Johnson or bombay Ravi should have been the music director! Otherwise, pay a bit more and could have roped in A R Rahman! When you alreday spend so many crores, why not give rahman and his crew a fair share! I think he wouldn't have hesitated, as resul is in it! And the film would have gained pan India recognition!
