This will work with corded and cordless phones, answering machines, Fax machines, PC Modems, Satellite set top boxes, VoIP adatpters but not with Broadband and I think that this includes DSL. So No not suitable for DSL

Hi can u help me? I have an iMac g5 with no Internet connection... Downstairs I have a wireless modem (AT&T). If I plug this into a socket downstairs next to my router, and plug it into the router through one of the ports, and then I plug the other transmitter into the socket upstairs and plug it into my I Mac, will I get a connection?
