Khaled Hosseini, author of the best-selling novels "The Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns" visits with Afghan refugees who have returned to their homeland after living as refugees for decades.

People r to hard on middle easterns. the 911 was awful, but not every Persian person was involved. look at these people's living conditions. i used to judge afghan ppl, especially the men, but after reading his books, i've come to realize that they're ppl 2. God, help rebuild Afghanistan and help the poor ppl of that broken nation.

Through his books I came to know about Afghans.How much they suffered..feel really sory them.
The kite runner and a thoudsand splendid suns are always my favorites..

Best writer ever! When I saw the name Khaled Hosseini in the book, for I knew nothing about the kite runner. I'm a Moroccan, thus an Arab. Nevertheless, got so frustrated when I saw the Arabic name which belongs to an Afghani writer so perfect and so fascinating which later I discover. Khaled, really, I really wanta thank you from the very bottom of my heart for the journey I travelled with you in a land I used to know nothing about. Now I know a great deal
