Thursday, 15th April, 2010 - Bradford South's Road Policing Unit has been tackling traffic offences in the city for six months. The team formed in October last year and this week marks six months since they began.
In that time they have seized 535 vehicles, issued over 2,200 fixed penalty notices and attended 43 days of action working with colleagues from Neighbourhood Policing Teams. Over the past six months they've also worked with West Yorkshire Trading Standards, Bradford Council, VOSA, DVLA, Driver Standards Agency and HM Revenue & Customs.
