" Who are we to judge ? " .. so true
EunHaeFuckYeah 1 month ago
If you read matthews 7:1-6 it tells you judging is wrong! Because we are guilty of sin as,well! But God does say that homosexuality is wrong in the bible corinthians 6:9-11.. Which I truly love those verses because they tell you your sinning and you will not receive the kingdom of heaven. But then it reminds u, through jesus christ you can have a new life and be forgiven. You are not hopeless or trapped in any sin!

Unfortunately, for the loudest, most strident and obnoxious segment of the Christian religion, Christianity has become synonymous with gay bashing. This probably should not be a surprise for so many of these people are obsessed with sex, as in, other people might be having it, and with putting the rest of the world on a guilt trip for being human. They, also, use fear and spreading hatred of others as a means to raise money for their churches and their minister's lavish lifestyles.

In contrast, there are many quieter, loving Christian churches that are tolerant and open-minded, and supportive of gays: the Episcopal Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Presbyterian Church, the Metropolitan Community Church, the Universalist Unitarian Church, the United Church of Christ, the Church of Scotland and the United Church of Canada.

For the a look at how a world-renowned church leader feels on this subject, namely, Nobel Peace Prize winner Desmond Tutu, take a look at his YouTube videos "Desmond Tutu On Gays," and "Tutu Speaks At Out in Africa Film Festival" and "Desmond Tutu @ Grace."

@10TillTuhda 1. I disagree, they do hate gays, and refuse to allow them in their church. 2. The bible says nothing about homosexuality, only idolatry, rape, and sexual worship rituals to gods. Not one verse says "Thou must be straight".

@smurfboywv --the things that is misuderstood is that christians do not hate gays...its the sin that we disagree on...it is nothing with the person..

Has Christianity become synonomous with Gay Bashing? ABSOLUTELY! If me being christian means to be like those who hate gays, or descriminate against them, then I don't want to be a christian.
