Ah! one of the best nights of my music loving nights back in 1975, when I bought this with WeatherReports 'Tale Spinnin' I felt I had graduated. Didn't need any drugs at all. Consider yourself dead if you don't like this! (the tune I mean) ¦¬D

Nice jam, except for the drums. Sounds like he just discovered "the shuffle".

@santibanks But we all should thank Larry Graham for the basic concept! If it weren't for hime, Stanley,Mark or Wooten probably wouldn't be as big of names as they are today!

It doesn't get any better than Stanley Clarke on bass guitar...period

Sad thing is, Louis did not continue to evolve. Stanley and Larry are still relevant in 2010. Love those records that Louis hit on back in the day.

@kinshasaAPP Stanley Clarke was a very huge influence on Mark King and King never hide that… There are more Level42 tunes that have some kind of reference to stuff Stanley wrote…

@kinshasaAPP Heck yeah man!

It's Tony Williams' loose, explosive drumming that makes this tune so special....
