From the Othros-Liturgy of January 20, 2008 at St-Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, Naples Florida.
A very rare and inspirational service featuring two of the world's best Byzantine chantors; George Hatzichronoglou (Archon Hymnodist of the Great Church of Christ, Athens, Greece) and Constantin Lagouros (Archon Protopsaltis of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Canada). The two led the Byzantine Choir of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittbsurgh (invited for a lecture-concert at Ave Maria University) in the traditional right-left choros configuration.
The hymns are from the Orthros Matins (Lauds); resurrectional First Tone.
Our other special guests for this event were Apostolos Combitsis, Protopsaltis, and Panagiotis Kaskabas of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey.
