Deakin University Film and Television students have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. They develop creative and critical thinking, and practical hands-on skills.

Students have access to borrowing equipment from the media resource centre, such as Red Epic cameras. At the Melbourne Burwood campus, Deakin has a full HD Television studio, motion capture lab, editing suites, screening facilities.

Film and TV courses at Deakin prepare students for a career in the industry by focussing on film and television production through practical work, viewing and analysis.

Graduates from these courses have specific production skills together with skills in organisation, teamwork, critical thinking, and a practical understanding of professional approaches to creative, technical and logistic problem solving.
