War of the Ring Collectors Edition - Unboxed

Here is an unboxing of the game War of the Ring: Collector's Edition by Nexus Games and Fantasy Flight Games which was released in the winter of 2010. A deluxe version of the highly acclaimed boardgame War of the Ring published in 2004, this collector's edition has been redone with miniatures that are pre-painted, a larger size gameboard and cards. The game itself is packaged in a large wooden box that has been made to look like an ancient elvish book.

The game focusing on emulating events from the book, Lord of the Rings, by J. R. R. Tolkien.

I bought it from Fantasy Flight Games, which was the distributor for the US. The game itself was made by an Italian game company called Nexus. From what I understand, all of the copies from Fantasy Flight are sold out at this point, but Nexus might still have a handful of copies.

@bakeliteperformance that company is now under new management from recent news they are reprinting TWOR 2nd edition that will feature new rules with some of the CE specials built into the new game with a re-release of an expansion after 2012

so save your money from ebay price scalpers. the CE from what i heard has typos in the rule book and given the popularity of lord of the rings with the new hobbit movie coming out you will see a CE 2nd ED coming out as well that will de-value the 1st CE
