The latest patch for Modern Warfare 2 brings with it some much needed glitch and hack fixes, although there is still quite a lot to go.

Patch 1.0.174 also introduces new balancing for the Akimbo Model 1887 Shotguns. This discussion relates to this aspect of the patch.

*Update*

I will re-visit this patch in another discussion video, in it I will analyze and discuss arguments people have used for and against the patch, which should make for another interested discussion.

I did plan on having another discussion video up before Christmas but because I pre-recorded the game footage I did tend to forget and 'umm' more then usual what I was saying or not explain my properly and I did talk for like 10 minutes so matching up correct footage with audio was slightly difficult since I'm still learning this new software so I will record both at the same time so it will be a good video. May be out tomorrow morning before the madness begins.

@nintendomen1212 The MP44 back in Cod4 was also an old gun that was unlocked pretty much last and it was the complete opposite of how the model was.

these things didint deserve to be nerfed, it was the reason they were level 67.....................now the spas 12 has more range than them and thats retarded becaus their level 1!

@dancinghoboman You're right, the patch ruined the models and the game you get them at lvl 67 but they're weaker then the Spas wich you get at the beginning
