Mocking birds are a common pest in central Texas. The Texas mocking bird is one of the most despised nuisance animals because of it's annoying sounds and frequent swarming. I called the pest control poisoning place but apparently even they are powerless to do anything about this menace.

  • You are complaining about Mocking Birds? Try riding the subway in NYC every day. The Mocking Birds are pure joy..

  • why is this beautifully unique bird a "menace" to you? it lived here WAY before your ancestors even came to this country, think about that. I live in texas and i love these birds, they have the most beautiful call and they are our state bird so show a little pride dammit!

  • i actually like mocking birds, i think they're very pretty and its funny to watch them dive bomb my neighbors cats (all it does is scare them, and its hilariously ironic :).i think those stupid grackle birds are way more annoying and overpopulated, but the bird i find the most annoying is the laughing gulls in our area.

  • @Goregoon Those would probably work because the mocking birds would dive bomb it and die from the impact.

  • @Goregoon AHHH MAN THAT Would be cool to sit and watch now and then LOL.

  • @vince38curious2 Cool, I hear they also have robotic owls that turn their head intermittently.

  • @freddytk420 Freddy I go through 12kg of wild bird food every 14days The owl on the Tv antenna is to stop the birds from landing on the antenna and ruining the reception It also stops them from corroding the antenna with their TOXIC SHIT LOL.

  • @vince38curious2 I need to try that. All we have are dozens of bird feeders. they probably don't help the situation.

  • @Goregoon We have a plastic owl on our tv antenna they WORK GREAT.

  • @Goregoon We have lots of red hawks here. they get really huge here I saw one eating a dead dear and I thought it was an albino buzzard.
