This is a video showing William McMahon who received a liver transplant, but five months later needed another. He passed away waiting for a liver on the transplant list. William's original liver failure still remains unexplained. These are shirts made from a pic taken at a surfing memorial for him. They support organ donation awareness. Thank you all for your pictures and support!

  • this is probs the best use of a youtube vid out there. my sister has had 2 heart transplants and i hated the waiting in the hospital for a heart but i think you have done a great thing :)

  • Thank you for the positive comment, I really appreciate it. Very glad to hear your sister had two transplants. That is wonderful. Hope she is doing well!

  • Was his first transplant in '93 or '94?

  • His transplant was Jan. 2, 2005 and he was doing great until almost five months later. He had some complications, needed another transplant and didn't get a liver. He passed away May 19, 2005.

  • I just got my licencse today and I am an organ donor. why should all my body has left to work go in a hole in the ground when my organs can help someone else live on.

  • Thank you for being an organ donor and for your comment.

  • What a lovely video, just made me cry. The soundtrack is fantastic. I live near Manchester in England and had a Liver transplant 7 months ago and all is doing really well. Looks like you had lots of good time with your Brother. xx
