Actually it's not racist at all. This song was written by Monty Norman for a musical based on a famous book "A House for Mr Biswas" written by VS Naipaul. If you read the Wikipedia article on the book you will see that the book by Mr Naipaul who is a Trinidadian Indian corresponds to Monty Norman's lyrics. Given this song was written by Monty in the 1960's he was very enlightened for that era and doesn't deserve your poorly researched criticism.
