  • thank you for taking the time to share ur craft :)

  • @Azael420 You r more than welcome!

  • I really enjoy your videos especially the soap making videos. I'm very interested in learning soap making. I'm waiting for my soap making books to come from Amazon. I've watched a lot of videos on you tube about the cold process. I noticed that you don't wrap your molds in towels or blankets to cure. Is it really necessary ?

Please make more videos on Soap making. Do you use different shapes of molds ? Thanks again for the good videos. Do you do melt and pour soaps?

  • None of my soaps are melt and our. I wrap them if its cold, but normally i just turn my oven on to warm and place them in there while they set and then take them out and cover them with a towel for a day or 2.

  • I know you can't use your utensils for cooking once you have used them to make soap. But what do you use to clean up everything with? Can you wash everything in a dishwasher? Great video

  • I wash by hand and then soak in the sink. I use 1 cup of vinegar in the sink with cold water. That neutralizes the lye. Then I either rinse, or put in the dishwasher.

  • i think she'd really good at making these vids i hope she makes more

  • That's a lot of unnecessary criticism for someone who's just sharing a project with people in a casual forum.

In case you didn't know this, it's not meant to be a professional production, you prick.

  • Hey Lissa, I was just wondering, I've searched through your vids and haven't found a tutorial for making your massage melts... do you have a vid for that? I'm a freelance masseur and would love to be able to customize stuff for my clients. Oh and thanks so much for the soap making vids... you've inspired me to start making my own!

  • Both Part 1/2 videos were great! And thank you by the way, for sharing what seems to be a long-time family tradition! I'm a beginner and this video was exactly what I needed. I'm def not going to start with mixing my own lye and base, however was curious of the process. Now I know what I can work up to! I'm very excited to try my first natural melt and poor with my daughter (9 years old) this weekend. I'm completely sold on the idea of making homemade products with her! Cheers! :)

  • thank you for posting this..this video makes it much easier to understand the process))

  • Lissa i enjoy watching your videos, can u post us your soap site pls? thanks

  • how much essential or fragrance oil do you use when making your soap?

  • Just wanted to say "THANK YOU" . You were the first person on YouTube I started watching that made CP soaps and I made sure I paid attention and did a lot of research and now I'm making it and I love it. Still just a hobby, I'm not selling yet but anyday now, as soon as I get my website going. Again, Thank you and God bless!

  • You could add lemon zest =D

  • Awesome video!
