Red Rock Canyon-Adventures in Las Vegas (YTO)

The music is Royalty Free from www.incompetech.com . Red Rock Canyon is just north on Charleston and has a 12 mile scenic drive for those of you that can't take in any of their trails. We got out and did one, but then I was done. The boys did a few more while I stayed in the air conditioned car :) But really a beautiful place to explore. There's more to Vegas than the strip.

Red Rock Canyon features a one-way 13-mile scenic drive, a Visitor Center which offers information and interpretation about recreation opportunities, wildlife, vegetation, geology, cultural resources and much more. The facility also offers a book and gift store operated by the Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association, a non-profit organization with the mission of researching and sharing interpretive information about RRCNCA and assisting the BLM with endeavors related to interpretation.

There are thousands of different plant and animal life here in Red Rock Canyon, but some seem to stand out a bit more than others. Here's our list of those characters that seem to make Red Rock Canyon such a special place.
