Simple: The cat was a mommy who wanted babies, the dog had babies she didn't want. The cat took the babies and both got what they wanted. Humans do it all the time, it's adoption.

peace harmony and understanding? wtf i have a cat and a dog and they never fight infact my cat likes to kill mice in the middle of the the night and bring it back to my dog so he can eat it so i dont know what shes talking about that all dogs hate cats

@scrapstreams True. I saw a report on Animal Planet a couple of years ago about a cat and a duck who took care of each other's children. During the day, the cat would keep the kittens and ducklings with her. Then at night, the duck would take over the infant care so the cat could go hunt for her kittens.

And for some reason politics comes in and so does race/gender or the likeness it is upsetting that the dog was chained but maybe the dog runs away or the owners don't have a fence. Judgeing baised on a few seconds of a view into the life doesn't give us the right to judge....Just saying
