I'm glad he's seen the error of his ways but the fact he voted twice in favor of a federal marriage amendment makes it hard for me to trust him again.

Your views changed because you moved. You were either too chickenshit to support gay marriage when you were here in TN, or you're too chickenshit to oppose it now. Either way, you're a chickenshit opportunist. I'm a lifelong Democrat, but you made me sick as a candidate for the Senate when you were here. Good riddance to you.

This is progress in front of our eyes. A few years ago Harold Ford wouldn't have been caught dead doing this commericial with this message. Those of you who want to keep beating him up over past failures should realize the only way forward to turn people, like in Harold Ford, from being equivocators and opponents into advocates.
