A normal scooter is cheaper and lighter and runs on standard scooter wheels in which I can put smooth bearings in and change both the wheels for a lot less than a bicycle tire

Bwahaha!!! I can't help but laugh at this terrible gimmick. Just because nobody has combined a scooter and bike before doesn't mean they SHOULD be combined. It's slow, there's nowhere to put your push-foot, and it's really ugly (look at those spokes!). Worst idea I've seen in a while.
