too bad you didn't live around here..I have a set of dr's and slicks...I usually take both to track and let my friends use whatever I'm not using..

@chefred112 That's the way to do it, helping you friends out. Unfortunatly I sold all my drag racing stuff a few years ago including my 88 turbo coupe t-bird, slicks , m&h racemasters and a couple of turbo motors.. I think with some good dr's , I might could see high 13's, maybe, I just dont know. If I see another ram with dr's or slicks at the track, Im willing to pay to use there tires for one run, just to see. If you ever get out to zmax dragway , give me a shout.

@chefred112 quickest to date is a 14.34 e.t on street radials, not drag radials at 95+ mph. Truck still spun for a little bit off the line launching from idle.. I think with the new tires I have now I can maybe shed another tenth or 2 off the e.t, maybe... What I ve seen it averages 14.40's all day on the radial tires that were bald. I will go back in the fall this year with the new tires I have on it now and try again, would love to try a set of drag radials once.

@chefred112 Yes when I get the chance, I just strarted running it in the quarter mile. When I first bought the truck it ran around 10.30's in the 1/8 mile, Now the best 1/8 mile has been a 9.17 on street radials averaging 9.20's in the 1/8.
