@bionictrucker1 they were trying to straighten the bird with the RAST system. I've participated about 100 times. Someone should have been standing by with chains in case it started to roll over.

THE SIKORSKI SH-60 SEAHAWK IS IN THE FLIGHT DECK OF A US NAVAL FRIGATE, NOT AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER. THIS BIRD SHOULD BEEN TIED DOWN TO THE DECK WITH A 12-16 POINT TIE-DOWN.

Why didn't they chain the helo ? Idiots... I'm sure the CO of the ship and the Det OINC got a good reaming and they would have deserved it. Looks to me that numerous procedures were ignored across the board... Regardless of the conditions, this is unsat.

Been there done that on numerous cruises. Never saw anything like this.
