Olympic Tournament NHL 09 PC Game (Highlights and Gold Medal Gameplay)

Sadly the video reduced the Ice graphics down..Normally you'll be able to see grooves in it with the icepack mods..Also the gold medal game was not played using the HD Mod for FPS reasons.

Played the whole tournament between difficulties medium and difficult..The ice, music, jerseys, boards, puck and even equipment and scoreboard were all downloads from www.thebreakaway.net THE place to go for hockey: Forums, Addons and Wallpapers for your favorite players.


Bronze medal went to Russia Silver to Canada (Who won Gold just a few hours before I played the game.) And gold to USA

For anyone interested in getting this for the PC for the mods, you cant change the commentary sadly and the be a pro mode was screwed up..you can't even play through the AHL on it you go straight to a pro team of your choice and you cannot play as a goalie. The glass breaking is always glitched like you will see at 1:32.. But definately the mods of the game make it worth the ten dollars and is better than even the 2k series and in my opinion better than xbox 360/ps3 nhl 09 and 10.

Also could not change the boards sadly noone made an addon for it and I don't know how to for this game hah.

When I press pllay on my nhl 09 game it says Hook DLL not loaded. What does this mean? and when I go to international game it frezes on loading screen. help?

@connorandersonmusic You might need a fresh install for that issue, the international freezing might be due to any NHL icepacks/arena packs you have. Also the freeze may be due to not following the readme if you have the vancouver icepack featured in this video.

I dont have this ice anymore I know have a World junior one. And I dont have the cd anymore to reinstall. The computer lets me play without it.
