You're wrong. It was Numan that asked Manson to do this. This was recorded on the American Leg of the Exile tour.Read the video description.

I have an interview on tape with Numan saying he was called by management of 'Brian Warner' in 1998 asking if 'Brian' could sing D.I.T.P. on stage with him, to which Numan says 'I didnt know who Brian Warner was!' and Eh, no he cant! Numan is then told who Brian is and then say's 'Yeah, of course' I checked the tape incase i'd got it wrong. maybe Numans tellin fibs.. i was just quoting!

While I'm not a fan of Marilyn manson, and I defaintly do not like anything Gary has done since Outland, I must say, this is a class act to let someone join you on stage for a song. That's a real class act right there, and even though I hate Marilyn Manson with a passion, I'll give it to him on this, as he didn't sound too bad.

5/5 stars, for the class act. This is what a real artist does, honor who you were influenced on, and then your idol welcoming you on stage.

@Northernmight they're both atheists, Gary never said it in the beginning I think but eluded to it in many songs like This Wreckage.

Nah Gary isn't technically a good singer- he would say that himself I'm sure. He has the kind of voice though that you know it's him as soon as you hear it.

@paintedship Thats a pretty good point! I love both versions, so yea. Both artists are quite alike too. Not about techniques, all about the expression. Art. Lets face it, neither Gary or Manson are really good singers, they are just very expressive, and thats what makes art. If you can feel it, you can feel it.
