  • I have one more question, would a novice pilot be able to handle a EN/A rated tandem glider (150kg max rating) at 200kg safely? Would the characteristics change that much?

  • @ZooTee123 i would say, being a tandem pilot myself, that during tandem the controls change, the hangpoint is different, espially on a high or mid hang point paramotor, and i dont know any recent tandem wings with an EN-A, i find that EN-A`s dont give me enough manouverablitity expeically for tandems, since it feels like you driving a truck, instead of a sports car (sorry for bad spelling)

  • @parapilot1453 You should try the K2. It is not only the best handling paraglider we've ever tested (beating out acro gliders size for size) but it is also the safest and 3rd highest performance. Just because a wing is in the beginner safety class doesn't mean it has to be a truck. Most are but the K2 freaking rules. You should try it. Also keep in mind there is no such thing as mid or high hang points. It is either a certified height hang point or it isn't.

  • @ZooTee123 Yes a novice pilot would have no problem handling a wing over the weight range. Why though? How much do you weigh? What gear are you flying? What is it you are trying to do?

  • Is it safe? The wing is listed as 242lb max weight.

  • @ZooTee123 The K2 is load tested to crazy ridiculous weights. There is no difference between a 200 lb guy pulling 10 G's and a 1000 lb load pulling only 1 G. Just don't load it up with 2000 lbs and then pull 10 G's. The K2 will literally pick up a truck. They are load tested to something like 6000 lbs without failure. So 600 lbs is absolutely nothing. I wouldn't do hard core acro with that much weight though. Just take it easy.

  • I had to go back and watch this video. This is pretty darn amazing. Way to go Dell and Shane.

  • well i guess it's ok to weigh about 230 although need to loose weight but dam that thing is powerful

  • @ZooTee123 You have some great questions! Shoot me a quick call so I can answer any questions you may have: 800-707-2525

  • @ZooTee123 We had an extremely experienced pilot go up, and we always push the gear to the limits when testing it. I wouldn't recommend it for the average weekend pilot - lol. Thanks for the question and comment.
