Gears of War 3 - How To: Unlock Comet Mutator

This is an efficient way of unlocking the Comet Mutator.

First off, start up a game full of casual bots. Game mode on Warzone and with 15 rounds. This is matter of taste. I choose to play Gridlock on cause of the narrow path they will be walking. Set up all of the weapon spawns as Boomshots.

Rush to the sniper tower right at the start and you should be able
to take out 2-4 people with one Boomshot if you're lucky. One person will ALWAYS go up the stairs to the weapon spawn. Rush after him and take him out. Every round should take around 30 secs to 1 minutes 30 secs.
After 15 rounds, which should take about 15 minutes, you should have 15 First Blood Ribbons. You will need *300 ribbons to unlock the mutator. The rest of the math is up to you.

*EDIT: Since Title Update 2, this mutator is now unlocked at 300 ribbons instead of the old 1000.

this is a lot harder than the video makes it seem because they always seperate with me

@Chomper839 Some rounds they gather up pretty good and some they tend to split up. This is why I said "Every round should take around 30 secs to 1 minutes 30 secs." because on those rounds where you for example miss your shot at the beginning it might go slower. This method worked like a breeze for me so if you're having problems then maybe you should try a different tactic or use some other weapons.

Im pretty sure you used the big explosions mutator

@Geovani74699 How is that possible? Mutators in a private warzone match? They can only be used in private horde or in the campaign.

how long would it actually take 2 get 300 first blood ribbons (300 warzone rounds)

I have a easier way. Warzone on old town (with the same settings/all boomshots). Grab the boomshot and aim right at the shop with the 3 feathery things being hung. Aim between the left two if you spawn on the upper area, and in between the right two if you are on the bottom. If you are on the top, run to the rail and shoot from there. On bottom, run to boomshot, evade once, and shoot where I said to aim. Also amazing way to get hail mary's for big explosion.

@HDGamingCorner yea actually after watching ur video again, i realized i wasn't advancing enough. but my biggest problem is that if i let one of them get a boomshot, im practically dead cuz their aim is right on. plus my team keeps killing themselves lol.
