Das „My Inner Body"-Buch beschreibt eine völlig neue Möglichkeit aus Büchern zu lernen. Das MIB-Buch ist eine, für Kinder entwickelte Anwendung, die durch das menschliche Verdauungssystem führt. Das MIB-Buch erlaubt unter Verwendung
von „Augmented Reality"-Technologien, eine Darstellung von 3-Dimensionalen
Organen direkt auf den Seiten des Buches. Dadurch wird eine völlig neue Form der Informationsvermittlung möglich.
Der Anwender kann so mit dem Buch das er in der Hand hält, Organe von jeder gewünschten Perspektive betrachten und deren Funktionsweise leichter verstehen. Zum leichteren Verständnis tragen weitere Funktionen bei, die durch Drücken von Knöpfen, die an der Unterseite des Buches montiert sind, ausgelöst werden. So können die einzelnen Organe des Verdauungssystems auseinander bewegt und einzeln betrachtet werden. Zusätzlich lassen sich auch Kommentare zu den aktuell dargestellten
Organen einblenden.


From human's perspective, the real world is composed of physical objects that people can perceive using their five senses. Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology
that allows extending those five senses and therefore the perception of reality. More and more Augmented Reality allows developing applications that are useful for everyday life. Besides usage in medicine or architecture, AR shows great potential for applications in the field of learning.
Therefore the so called learning game My Inner Body-Book was developed. The My Inner Body-Application describes a book that presents the human alimentary system on its pages in a three-dimensional way. Using the book as interface between virtuality and reality the human inner organs can be examined from every perspective wanted. The application is set up as an interactive story and allows the user to control the organs of the alimentary system though buttons, implemented at the bottom of the book. By this means, the user can learn in a playful way about how her inner body functions.
