How to change your ORIGIN ID for Battlefield 3 - THIS ACTUALLY WORKED (via Scrabble Free)

Information:
Simply download Scrabble Free for iOS and then log in with your Origin account. Once you've logged in go to settings (the little gear in the bottom left corner) and then click on "Edit Account" and there you go. You can change your username to something you are more comfortable with.

Those without an Android or iPhone check below!

I do not have any iOS device or Android device. I did it with the Android SDK for Windows. It runs a virtual Android device on your computer, just like if your were running a virtual machine.

When you get to the step you have to choose which packages to install, unckeck all but Android 3.2. That's all we need. Once your virtual device has been created with Android 3.2, you have to download the game. Here is a page where you can download Scrabble Free directly since the Market Place is not availabe on the SDK virtual machines: http://www.apktop.com/scrabble-free-1-12-57.html

You need to access this page on the virtual Android device and download the apk file with the device. Once it is downloaded, go in the Downloads app and execute the file to install it. Run the app, log in with your Origin account, click the gear icon, choose Edit Account, change your username and retype your password, hit your enter key to enable the save button (see the bug above) and click save.

You need to login into your Origin account on your PC (try it). Also the friends list will not update right away from what I've seen.
