@metaller8 Joey was the man. Without him the Ramones would have just been another band. Still the coolest and greatest front man ever

Haha lol.. I hope you were kidding. I see you never listen to any show of the Ramones the played after Richie left the band. Technically Richie is the best drummer ever played with the Ramones, true. But Marky had a diffrernt sound and feel, and he is also a great drummer.

@DanielSegalR Haha, well I base this on the last time I met Marky, the man is miserable all the time, didn't want to be in town and was so uninterested and didn't make eye contact with anyone. In his Blitzkriep band he still promotes Alex and Claire in everything, though they aren't in the band anymore and he doesn't pay them any image rights for the use either. So that's a dick move in my books coz Alex and Claire were two of the nicest and hardest rockers I ever met. I have my reasons ya see.

Well I never meeted Marky, so I don't know how he acts as a person. After seeing Ramones RAW, I saw how he was acting on tours and all that, and he looked like a very funny and nice guy, but I must say that in intreviews and all that he looks kind'a miserable.

@DanielSegalR Ramones Raw is a great doco. Maybe in the 80's he was great and fun coz he was a drunk!! haha!

@RobertTrew
He was a drunk when he left the band in 1983, but he was clean when he came back in 1987. It looks like he started to be miserable when the Ramones broke up, and especially when Joey, Dee Dee and Johnny died. But I don't know, it's just a guess.
