Team MX8 *Chapter II*

Another look at the Team MX8. It's not that bad at all. I have some issues with the sound of the audio, seems a little nasily to me. Whether this is alterations internally with the mike? Or indeed something with the radio the judges are out. Scrolling display is nice, works well and does what it says on the box as it were. ASC is working well and it has no issues that the 1st series Roadcom had. Sure, easy to say i want CTSS, i want better menu's for configuration but for the price that they sell it, and the market that it is aimed at it is NOT BAD at all. My reservations are just on the audio mostly. For the market at 100euro, it is really worth a look.

Sorry for the delay in reply, not been too well here. The radio has not any plan in very near future to be in the UK but why not email Team, check there site for the address and ask them? My understanding from one of the owners is that a new model will be made for the UK,, same radio just different bits and pieces inside

Welcome. The audio is amazingly strong, it is hard to describe it really but it is strong. However, it has somewhat of a nasal sound..

BUT, if you want LOUD! It is.

Its a good looking rig and will glow in my car also pleasing tohear the audio is above par using a standard mic, just plug in and go..
