`Georgia no longer depends on Russian gas and therefore, the country will have no problems of gas supply this winter,`` Georgian Energy Minister Aleksandre Khetaguri has said.
According to the minister, the Georgia receives natural gas from Azerbaijan.
Aleksandre Khetaguri has also commented the gas cut to the Tskhinvali region, occupied by Russia. The separatists are accusing Georgia of cutting the gas supply to the region. Georgian Minister says, the gas was cut due to the damages on the gas pipeline, which the Georgian side fails to repair as the damaged sector is beyond the administrative border.
