  • Too much throttle man, you don't have to throttle it that hard and pull up.

If you're having trouble getting it up, use the clutch it will be a lot easier.

And if you keep coming down that hard your going to blow your forkseals.

  • yea i know im having problems with clutch wheelies i have no idea what im doing wrong and what do u mean too much throttle because when i try to do it like around 6-7 rpm it goes up maybe like a foot .. are u saying i shouldnt yank it that hard? and also how would i come down a lil softer do i use the back break or just release the throttle slower

  • Well it's going to take practice either way.

But honestly clutching it up would be safer if you think about it. Powering it up is dangerous especially when your yanking it like that..Since your already on the throttle that makes it easier to 12 o clock it..

With clutch wheelies you get to a blance point a lot quicker..Just rev it to about 6k dump the clutch and it should get you up there..If not then rev it to 8 or 9k..And to come down not so hard on wheelies..Stay on the throttle alil bit

  • yea that what i tried i quickly bumbed the clutch and it didnt go up then i tried going 6k grabbed the clutch in revved up to 11 then let go (because thats what some one told me to do) and it still didnt work what gear should i be in 1rst or 2nd

  • Then when you get better at that, you can start bouncing them up in 2nd while standing and they will ride out much longer and easier. I'm no expert and have trouble clutching it up on a street bike cause I'm so light they like to spin on me but clutching is much better if you can do it. Also learn to cover that rear brake. I'm horrible at it but try and get that habit down while you're still green at the wheelies.

  • If you want to power it up especially on a 600, its all about a rhythm. You want to take it to about 6,500 or so and hit it once real quick to lift the suspension and let off, then put your weight down on it with your knees to push it even further down, then as it rebounds, hit the throttle again and as soon as it gets up feather the throttle off. It takes practice but once you get down that rhythm, they will come up super easy.

  • @flamingwoodenleg yeah, because these bikes were designed to wheelie and all(sarcasm).

  • you shouldnt be riding such a bike if you have no clue how to wheelie

  • You should pop it in 2nd.

First is to low of a gear.

but maybe your gearing is changed? ahaha
